About Us
As a civic organization for young people, the Northwest Area Jaycees are developing the next generation of leaders by providing opportunities to stand up and take initiative in their community.
We engage young people ages 18-40 through project management and social entrepreneurship that will make an impact in their communities and build leadership skills.
As Jaycees, we always have fun and in the process- the Northwest Area Jaycees provide leadership and management training for its members through events like: Corcoran Country Daze, Holiday Wreath Fundraiser, Santa Visit and our Annual Scholarship program. Through our projects, we are able to donate thousands of dollars back into the community. There are no time requirements or mandatory events for our members, everything we do is voluntary. If you are looking for something fun and meaningful to do in the NW suburbs, come to one of our meetings or events. The Northwest Area Jaycees are always looking for more enthusiastic people.
Jaycees around the state are responsible for organizing hundreds of community festivals, fundraisers for other nonprofits, and creating opportunities for community members to engage with one another.
Our Mission is to provide the opportunity for young individuals to develop the leadership skills, social responsibility, entrepreneurship and fellowship necessary to create positive change.
