Jaycees Scholarship Award Ceremony

Our 2011 Scholarship Award Ceremony will be held Thursday July 14th at 6pm at Corcoran City Hall. Every applicant should receive a letter, whether  they were awarded a scholarship or not.  Letters were mailed the week of July 4th.  The level of applicants was high and we wish we had enough funds to award everyone a scholarship!  Thanks to all for applying!

June General Meeting

Our June general meeting will be held Thursday June 23rd at 7pm at Corcoran City Hall in the Civic Center. All are welcome!

Northwest Area Jaycees 2011 Scholarships

The NW Area Jaycees will again give scholarships to graduating seniors who are Corcoran residents and continuing their education in the fall of 2011.  The application is now available via our website by visiting the Resources tab and locating the file beneath the Forms heading.  The applications are due May 27th.  Applicants will be notified in June and an awards ceremony will follow.  Time and place TBD.  Check back here and in our blog for more details!

New Pull Tabs Sites!

We now have pull tabs operations at Cowboyz in Rockford and Broadway Pizza in Maple Grove. The Stanchion and 10/50 Club in Corcoran plus J. Club Meetings – Fourth Thursday

Welcome to a new JC year!  The first meeting of 2011 was at The Stanchion back room Thursday January 27th.  Lots of business was covered.  The new board is in place and ready to lead us into another year of successful events & operations!

2010 Corcoran Country Daze a Success!

This year the Northwest Area Jaycees had a very successful festival year- with record attendees and great weather to boot! 1,200 attendees at the weekend’s festivities 50 local businesses donated time/energy/money 40 volunteers planned and ran the events Over 1,000 volunteer hours went into the event.
